3-Layer Construction
Each board is made up like a sandwich of three different layers. The top layer consists of a solid timber species according to choice (oak, ash, maple etc.) approximately 3.5 mm (0.14”) thick.This surface layer is finished with 7 coats of UV hardened acrylic lacquer containing aluminium oxide, which is extremely durable or with UV oil. The middle layer is in solid pine finger strips approximately 9 mm (0.35”) thick for strength. This layer is cross-glued to optimally distribute the innate tension acting within the individual layers. The parquet stays in top form for a long time. The bottom layer is birch veneer 1.5 mm (0.06”) thick, which makes the whole construction very stable.

2-layer Construction
For the areas with high air humidity or with constantly changing humidity we produce the 3-strip design on birch plywood basis approximately 10.5 mm (0.41") thick instead of cross-glued solid pine.
